| Abstract: | Report on the meeting of the Governing Council of the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The Council made Sir C. V. Raman Professor of Physics, taking away his powers as Director and appointing a separate Director. It appears that Sir C.V. Raman has not yet signed the contract as required by the rules of the Institute. |
